About FastWikiGen
Most knowledge never makes it into a wiki because writing one is slow: you have to decide on a structure, split things into sections, link related ideas and keep a table of contents. FastWikiGen does that part for you.
Give it a topic ("Rust concurrency guide", "SaaS data privacy SOP"), paste rough notes or a transcript, or drop a PDF, Word, PowerPoint or Markdown file. The AI returns a structured wiki — overview, sections and sub-sections, tables, code blocks, tags — and FastWikiGen adds cross-links between sections, backlinks and a live table of contents.
How it works
- The AI (OpenAI) returns the wiki as structured JSON:
wiki_title,summary,table_of_contentsandsectionswith heading, content, tags and related topics. - Our server turns it into clean, safe HTML:
[[Concept]]links become in-page links when a section exists, or links to a new wiki when it doesn't. - PDF text is read in your browser, so the file itself is never uploaded — only its text is sent to generate the wiki.
- Published wikis are plain HTML pages rendered once, so they load instantly.
What we don't do
No accounts, no subscription, no ads, and we don't keep what you paste. We don't train models on your content, and our AI provider doesn't use API data for training either.
